Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy (born on 17 October 1992) was born on 17 October 1992, and is an Indian actress. She appears primarily as a character in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam movies. She won the National Film Award for Best Actress as the actress Savitri in her role in the Telugu film Mahanati (2018). There were three SIIMA Awards were also given to her. She also received an Filmfare Award South. Keerthy Kumar is the child of film producer G. Suresh Kumar, and actor Menaka G. Suresh. Her first acting experience began in the early 2000s. She portrayed her first lead role in Geethaanjali (2013 Malayalam). She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). In 2015, Keerthy accepted her first projects outside of Malayalam and was signed to participate in a variety of Tamil films at the same time. Although the movie did poorly in the theaters, her debut film was A. A. Vijay's romantic comedy Idhu Enna Maayam (2005) that she was in opposite Vikramprabhu. The actress had to pull out of a number of films she was working on in 2015, like Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye, and Deekay's Kavalai Vedam to make room for more ambitious projects. In a short time she also worked with Sivakarthikeyan on Rajini Murugan, Remo and she also acted as the lead for Prabhu Sool's Thodari with Dhanush. She made her Telugu debut had been scheduled to be titled Ainaa Ishtam nuvvu. In 2015, the film was later delayed and reports suggest that Janakitho Nenu will release in September 2020. In the end, the film's debut was the 2016 film Nenu Sailaja with actress Ram Pothineni. Keerthy was the lead actress alongside Vijay on screen in Bairavaa by Bharathan that premiered on the 17th of January, 2017. Also, she was on screen in Tamil film Paambhu Sattai as well as Telugu film Nenu Local in 2017.
